The spotlight is on you.

Now I'm gonna talk about guys.

And how they 'dress' *grinz* ;).

Was browsing through a lot of pictures the other day. Then I thought of some of my guy friends and how they wear their clothes. What attracts us, and what repels.

Usually, having a good personal hygiene must be the first thing they do if they wanna impress any ladies. Meaning.... shower, boys!!! Use that shampoo! Invest in a good perfume or two! We ladies love a guy smellin' good ;). I tell you, every time I pass a guy who smells good, I always turn to look ;). Never fails.

Then, he must wear a smart attire. By smart, I don't mean... tie and shirt. I mean any clothes properly worn, with no holes in them are fine, lol. But what sets apart a few of you out of the whole XY chromosome (males) bunch is by having a personal style. Most of us girls like it when you know how to 'dress up' when you go out! Sure, some stick to the traditional simple t-shirt and jeans type of guy. Heck, even I swoon secretly when I see a guy wearing a simple, plain black t-shirt, with no-holes jeans (well, providing he has a body that's nice to see ;)). On the other hand, when I see a guy with something 'extra' and nothing 'too much', it makes me go weak in the knees too ;). Secretly, ofcourse. Then I'll privately applaud him in the mind for making his race and species proud, haha!

All hail the metrosexuals who always puts in an extra effort everytime they go out. My taste, however, is more to the a-bit-less-but-still-better-suited-than-average type of guys. You dig? Well, that's what I observed anyways of all the guys I've been with, officially, lol. Hrmmm. Anyhoots. And I'll say this; I am not too keen on guys who spends more time than me to prepare. Something about that irritates me somehow. It's not.... natural. Sheesh. Let me do the honour of being the one in the relationship that spends more time in front of the mirror, and choosing clothes, kay?

And don't forget the hair, honey! The least you could do is comb! Don't ever let it run wild, unless that makes you more hot, haha! Or if your hair is curly, which then in case, fix it well.

Baby got back~

So yes, us girls do have radars for these kind of things, and yes, we do talk about it amongst ourselves. We praise those who've managed to catch our eyes in a good way, and comment on those who catches our eyes in a bad way.

All in all, the ultimate number one rule for guys, and the least you could do, is..... don't smell (bad)!!!! Oh yeahhh, we'll remember you for that! And you DON'T want us to remember that! However cute or gorgeous you are, if you smell bad, it is such a turn off.

Lol!

This post has been inspired by a particularly goodguyfriendofminewhoalwaysdresseswellandhasaverygoodpersonalhygiene.

This particular guy, will forever be anonymous in this blog ;) (N: hahaha, whoops ;))

Haha!

G'bye!

The Lion and the Lamb

I just finished reading this book called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. It's super awesome!!! It's a trilogy and she wrote i think 4 books on this story and I can't wait to read the second one! I bought all the 4 books last month but my sister brought all of them back and only left the first book, Twilight, with me. I finished reading it in 3 days only. really can't put it down hehe.

It's basically a love story between a Vampire and a human. they're soo sweet and funny and charming but likes to argue alot hehe. they went through some adventures taking risks and in the end got into a lil trouble. sorta like Romeo&Juliet lah. Go read it!!

yes, im that 'asyik' reading the book =p

They're making a movie on it =D and it's gonna be out in summer!! well, our summer lah, in december. hope it's as good as the book. can't wait!!!

Enjoy the trailer ;)

Watch this space ;)

So anyways. Some of us had a mini get together the other day, since Yng was leaving soon. Namely me, Yng, Zims, Maz and by a lucky chance, Ling ;). Some couldn't make it that night. Btw, sorry Ling! We thought you were still in China/Hong Kong! I was nervous to see them (except Yng, since I've met her before the meeting), mostly because I haven't seen them in about a year after 'all that' ;p.

I became a bit hyper/bubbly afterwards though... 'cos I've missed talking to them!!! Gossiping mostly ;), lol. But really, we had a LOT to catch up... talked about the old gang... what happened to who... who've changed and in what ways... some better (*ahem* Dihar *ahem*) than others... what remained the same... stuff like that. What I've noticed is that whatever the changes are, they are still close together because they are going through the challenges as a group, albeit different for each one. You gets? Another thing I've noticed is that they have this tendency to talk about their happenings, and might sometimes forget that there are others out there who are not in their circle and wouldn't know what's going on... LOL!!! Understandable though. I'm fortunate enough to have been with them for a long while to keep up and understand what they're going through =). And yes, they did try to keep in contact with me, especially a few of them, but hadn't really had the chance to properly catch up before this.

I'd like to say this. I am really, really, really PROUD of those who've changed for the better and improved in terms of mentality, maturity, personality and vision. Really, really proud =)))))). You could say that most of them are my inspiration and motivation right now. I can already see some of them as future leaders of our country. They already have that semangat (spirit) and vision as a leader..... really... I'm proud of you guys!!! Hahaha, geyla, sorry I can't help but be emotional, hehe ;).

I miss hanging out with the lot. I really do...... especially with the girls. I do know this though... it's not the end ;).

Anyhoots. After hanging out, I sent Zims back to her place... and we spent about almost an hour in my car, still catching up!!! Heee... geyla, rindu ku cerita sama kau eh Zims!!! Hahaha. She's good for catching up with 'stories' ;). Bah, bila hiking? And jogging? Lol... I'll help you train for your you-know-what =p. Too bad I couldn't see Asmah and Beb before they went off tho'- oh wells, next time.

The Now.

Sending Yng off... her niece is sooooo cute!!! Abby has angelina jolie lips ;)

Back then.

With Asmah and Amal before... jogging or something.

I miss them!!! Yes, even the two macho guys. I even miss Ali flexing his muscles for everybody to see, lol.

With Dae!

Told ya ;). Wasting time in DC.

Funny thing is, it's true!

I'm sure the email has been passed around a couple of times and sometimes when you get the same email over and over and over again you won't even bother opening it. let alone read it. but this one always gets me and everytime I read it, I'd get soo...'excited' and started grinning to myself and go like "omg!! that's soo true!!" or "Ohh yes, he's like that!" (crazy woman!) huhu

Neways, thought I'd like to share it here...

28 THINGS GIRLS DON'T KNOW ABOUT GUYS

1. Guys hate sluts even though they have sex with them! (oh yeah..you're not 'popular' if you've slept with more than 6 guys..you're a HOE)

2. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

3. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

4. Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him

5. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest.

6. Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved.

7. Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend.

8. Guys get jealous easily.

9. Guys are more emotional than they'd
like people to think.

10. Giving a guy a hanging message like 'You know what?!..uh...nevermind..' would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.

11. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.

12. A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.

13. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.

14. Guys think WAY too much. One small thing a girl does, even if she doesn't notice it can make the guy think about it for hours, trying to figure out what it meant.

15. Guys seek for advice from girls not other guys. Because most guys think alike, so if one guy's confused, then we're all confused.

16. When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, 'Please come and listen to me.'

17. If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.

18. If your best guy friend seems to avoid you or is never around when you're with your boyfriend, he's probably jealous and likes you.

19. When a guy tells you that you are beautiful, don't say you aren't. It makes them want to stop telling you because they don't want you to disagree with them.

20. When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something.

21. Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do.

22. A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.

23. Don't be a snob. Guys can be intimidated and give up easily.

24. Guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys.

25. Guys hate rejection, but they hate being led on even more.

26. If you are going to reject a guy, just do it. Don't say they are like a brother or just good friends, it just hurts even more. Tell them that you aren't interested in a relationship and they will respect you.

27. Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are MAD confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them.

28. When a guy sacrifices his sleep and health just to be with you, he really likes you and wants to be with you as much as possible.

*sigh* now I'm missing him even more =S

they come and go

Sometimes I just have too many ideas in my head.

Hello to you too ;)

When I have time to think, or when I'm just feeling 'charged up', I have this tendency to want to do... everything! Haha. Some of the many things are... hiking, kayaking, camping, doing the outwardboundthingy again, going on hiking/cave-ing/trail-ing trips whereever, and just recently (as in, a few hours ago) forming a group of young Bruneian outdoor enthusiasts. LOL. If only I can find PEOPLE. *Hint*. Come onnnn, get up yer behinds and work those muscles! Hahaha. Ofcourse, we'll do these activities during the weekends.

But hey. Those are just ideas.

For now ;).

Ex-resident advisor and such.

So anyways.

Shannon, my ex-Howitt Hall-RA sent me a msg on FB.
He just wanted to check up on me =) I'm really, really glad he was my RA (resident advisor) back at HH, 'cos he's really cool and reliable at the same time. It's hard to get RAs like that nowadays. My previous RA in Manchester was... almost non-existant, haha. I only saw him once during briefing, and that was that. Shannon, on the other hand, is like the big brother you can bug whenever, hee =). I miss him. He's sweet too; he gave me a card when I had to go. Anyhoots, in the FB msg, he asked whether I wanted to give any pictures or anything for the HH website or newsletter, I forgot which. I'll definitely give him some!

Shannon in red! During one of the hall's events.

Since I'm bored, I'm gonna post up random pics.

During a late night walk around campus with Nas. When I still had my long hair, lol.

This is funny! Haha. We were at the Clayton train station, bored waiting for the train to come. Saw this sign there, and decided to take a photo of it, without trying to make the woman think we were stalking her or something. Haha.

At the lake! With Sam in the background. Lotsa things happened there for me, lol, from duck feedings, to getting together with someone, to the many, many late night walks, etc.

With Li, trying to feed ducks. Fun!

With Amanda and her famous yellow shirt, and Li!!!

Out. Happy fasting people.

Oh, oh, another thing. I went out with Yng, Wy and Dews the other day. Miss going out with them!!! Caught up with Yng at the U-B-D gym. She told me lotsa 'stories' about things I've been out of the loop of... Very interesting things... huhu. Thanks Yng =) We have to go out again before you go!!!

From Melbourne to Canberra, and Optus to Voda, the mamas are here to stay.

I'm sharing this blog with two other girls; they came into my life at different times; after one's gone, the other came. They are full of life, and dilemmas like any other girls. Fun is the major factor, but reliability comes close. Who do you go to in the end? Who do you tell almost everything to? I point at them.

Life is like a 6-stars rated movie film. You never know what’s gonna happen next. It’s always full of surprises. And sometimes things don’t go the way you expected it to be. In my ‘movie?Dee has been my ‘co-star?for years and we’ve been through a lot. Iz has always been playing a small role but not anymore. I hope =p I’m not sure about the ending, but I always love it when at the end of the show, I’d go like “SO worth buying the ticket!!?lt;/i>
